About

IN-SCHOOL STUDY

In our “In School Study” program students attend daily and work through the curriculum with the assistance and support of our teachers. Students are on site daily, working on the curriculum assigned to them. (Individualized curriculum is prescribed based on diagnostic tests the students are given upon entrance to NHCA.) The teachers are available to assist them on an as needed basis. Students take breaks; have mini-classes and activities, Physical Education, music & art lessons, field trips, chapels, Fun Fridays etc.

HOME STUDY PROGRAM in our “Home Study” program, students work through the curriculum at home and attend the school, (as needed), for any assistance and all testing. Students are eligible for all of our extra-curricular activities. Students may attend special mini-classes, field trips, chapels, Fun Fridays, etc. They are expected to be supervised by their parent while on our site. Standards for amount of work to be completed are set by Home Study Supervisor. Not maintaining adequate and steady progress in the course curriculum will cause students to be discontinued from the program.

New Hope Christian Academy, (NHCA), is a nondenominational private school, founded in 2004. We utilize the highly acclaimed “Accelerated Christian Education”, (or “ACE”), curriculum. The focus is on helping each student to see themselves as God sees them and for them to reach their potential using the strengths that God has given to each of them. Each student is seen as an individual with their own special abilities and educational needs. We strive to meet those needs, building on a student’s abilities, while at the same time, strengthening any possible weaknesses they may have, building their confidence along the way.

At NHCA, our desire is to help families to fulfill the mandate of God to “Train up a child in the way he should go…” (Proverbs 22:6). We desire to partner with our families to facilitate the best education possible for each individual student
